The butterfly
Having to justify
color on her limbs
strength in her stings
curves on her skin
wind underneath her wings
Her quest…
to find validation
her purpose
her pastures
her skies
where she isn’t judged
on color shape and size.

Great poem, as a feminist I’m in total agreement. And, men aren’t bothered to be judged, also, they ignored or marginalized at best, if they’re ‘betas’. We’re almost extinct as a species from the climate crisis, I think we’ve more important things to be on about besides women’s sacrosanct feelings. Viva la evolucion. 🙂 reality
